grass still green

After the birth of my first child I mourned my lost spontaneity. But is it really lost?
I submit that we are as free as we decide that we are.

My spontaneous decisions must simply be made a few hours in advance. A contradiction! How can the action warrant the word, you ask.

The moment we commit completely to an impulse we are employing the power of spontaneity!

Tonight I had an impulsive thought and made a decision then and there to carry it out. Although I must set about extra preparations to unite my vision and the reality of children, I feel so free!

I can't wait to see their faces when they experience the adventure that I've planned (but not really planned because I'm convinced we're being off-the-cuff)!

I simply adore stacking their adventuring gear.
