easy Earth Day kid-craft.

Happy Earth Day everyone! This project I threw together helped us reflect on the wonder of this Earth. Plus, it's not too complicated to do last-minute, on a whim!
We used:
*paper
*glue
*scissors
*toothpicks
*tape
*stickers
1. Cut out a blue circle and some patterned blob-shapes (land). Let the kids glue the land on. For Iggy, that's about where we stopped. He put some stickers of fruit and vegetables on his Earth and talked bout the yummy food that grows here.
2. We cut out little circles from patterned paper and taped them to the toothpicks. They were supposed to represent things we have on Earth for which we are thankful. If you're really brave, or you have older kids, you could have them draw little pictures of things they love about the earth.
3. Tape the toothpicks to the back of the Earth.
So go do it! It's that simple!
Enjoy!
