Body shape.

I'm actually really looking forward to the part of my pregnancy when I look like this...

because...

a. I will no longer receive stealthy glances to my tummy while people try and decide if they think I'm pregnant.
b. my maternity shirts will fit and maybe look less like little tents.
c. I'll have a legitimate excuse not to shave my legs, since I won't even be able to see my own knobby knees.
d. people will probably throw food at me, too.

For now I'm going to enjoy...

a. sleeping on my stomach.
b. having a lap for my kids to sit on.
c. putting my shoes on with minimal effort.
and
d. blaming my weight gain on a peanut-sized critter, all the while stuffing my face with cheesecake.

hahaha loved this post as I am pregnant :) People aren't throwing food at me, although sometimes I wish they would!

i never had trouble with the newly pregnant belly since it was winter by then & always covered with a coat. my troubles were after i had him, it was summer & i still had to wear maternity wear or else things that just looked wrong. i contemplated wearing a huge necklace that read, "i just had a baby, i have better taste than this, please leave me alone." you look wonderful by the way! xx

I'm right at 5 months and finally over the "is she getting fat or what?" stage. The tummy is finally starting to protrude, but the best part is the constant little reminders of "Hey, I'm here, feed me more ice cream and cherry limeades!" Although, I betcha he'd settle for cheesecake, too! Yummy!
