distracted by a merbaby
We were late to church on Easter, partially due to the following distraction...
It all started when I decided to crochet bolo-ties for each of the boys.
While the kids unraveled my yarn, Duke started to slide baby into the single leg-warmer that I'd made for an unactualized Christmas present. (Note to self: If you're learning a new skill, don't start with making something that needs a match. Especially since you are easily distracted.)
Duke was starting from the head down, squeezing her in like a sausage. So began the giggling.
He changed his mind and started from the other side, which eventually led to the mermaid getup, complete with Easter-egg bra.
I bet this merbaby is distracting you from something you should be doing right now, too.
