oh, happy day. matt was honored to have been asked to baptize our darling, young friend.

what a heavenly drive to a neighboring town, and a wonderful experience with this family we've grown to love!

the first time he dipped her, her toe popped out. then he forgot to say "amen" so he had another go. finally they got it just right! we believe in baptism by immersion, following Christ's example. so it can be a little tricky sometimes. my mom says that her hair kept floating to the top! it sure makes for a lot of joyous giggling.

yes, it was pretty-much the best-ever day-trip.
