when i pop my head upstairs to see what all the noise is about sometimes someone is about to bite... that's a one-picture, long lecture, extra chores moment...

other times i gaze through the railing and everybody is laughing...

and laughing...

and laughing...

sometimes the weather is "slightly tense with a chance of tantrum" but others it's "cheerful with a high percent evening-light-dust-enchantment."
