big babies.

we picked up an extra-large yard wagon for outside projects. but...
the kids have clearly claimed it as a crib.
a dear friend has been passing along baby supplies including pram, high-chair, and other baby seats. when we received them, i could see in their kid eyes, especially evy's and finn's, an effort at self-restraint. i knew a big, deep peice of them wished to shrink and curl up into these baby toys.
so it's both. a yard cart and a pram for big babies. with wash-down baths in between jobs.

we've discovered that our garden hose fits onto our washbasin faucet. which means warm baths outside, should the need arise.

these resourceful kids don't worry a bit when the hot water runs out... they simply set about new ways of heating things up. it's amusing to watch the way they collaborate and problem-solve. (though, the wet carpets are slightly less amusing.)
i hope that they can continue to find ways to process their feelings and meet their important needs as the new baby comes. i hope i can keep seeing how precious they are.
