The inspiration for Curious George?

Today I watched Curious George for the first time and I thought it was very cute. The best part was that all of George's looks and mannerisms mirrored my Iggy's. Those big brown eyes almost caused me to tear up! Iggy even has the widow's peak and reddish hair! The part when the man in the yellow hat is playing peek-a-boo with George so closely resembled our games that it made me realize that I have a little monkey of my own.
