if i am thirsty

When I was a kid I drank water from puddles on the sidewalk, and now I use a cup.

I remember when every other kid was my instant best pal. I want to make friends as easily now.

I cried because someone called me "freckle face" but today I would tell them "thank you!"

I once believed that I was magic and could breath under water. Recently I forgot how.

It gives me the giggles when I think about how much living my kids have ahead of them!!!
