Hidden Treasure

Purging my house means finding a million and one things that I don't want to throw away, and then throwing them away anyway.

I've decided to document some of my treasures in pictures before they spend the rest of their existence rotting in a garbage heap.

Exhibit A: I made this countdown calendar for Duke, for the 3 months prior to our wedding! I was away from him for the first time since we'd started dating, off at school in Idaho while he slaved away in Oregon.

There were special days on the calendar when he could open a box and read a special note! I forgot how great of a girlfriend I was!!!

You may be able to read some of the very silly things I wrote, if you look closely.

But I threw it away. The stuff really does help me remember, but I know I can't take it with me. Hopefully our brains have been DVRing all these things so we can scan through them when we die.

PS- I have a nail biting problem. Don't judge me too harshly.

get your butt out to the garbage and bring that thing back inside.
it is amazing.
so, so amazing.
if you need more room- throw out something useless like spice racks or painting clothes.
not things like this.
