Cyclofabulous

My sweet husband built me a fixed-gear bicycle, just because he loves me... and he loves tinkering with bicycles.
Isn't it glorious!? I only wish I wasn't so terrified of it.
I'll have to ask my parents if I ever had any traumatic biking accidents when I was a kid, because I have an irrational fear of riding a bike. I am determined to tame this red stallion... and I will make no excuses for myself because, unlike a bucking horse, the thing only moves when I petal.

Did you know that there is such a thing as Cyclophobia? Self-diagnosis; I'm not that scared of bicycles.
I'm here... But I will be here...

I'm sad that there is snow here. I miss riding my bike, even though my bike is horrible and I ride up and down the beastly hill!

No traumatic events come to mind; but, you did ride on the back of one (in a kid's seat)with your Dad. Maybe he has the answers.
You know, little kid.. big Daddy...go fast.STOP!
Who knows.

Well.. if its anything like you learning to drive a car... you'll just need an extra bit of practice. :)

I share the same fear. Greg put on a back seat for Deagan to ride with me, and that has only made my fear that much greater because now I am terrified that I am going to hurt him too!
I am glad to hear there is a name for this silliness and that I am not alone.
