99 is the new "over-the-hill"
A couple of years ago, I looked around at the most beautiful women but heard words that didn't match what I was seeing. "I haven't had my picture taken in years, and I don't plan to." "I used to be pretty a few years ago." "I belong behind the camera." "I'm too (substitute any description here)."
I pondered the messages these women were sending to themselves, their husbands, and their children, and I realized that this was no way to live!
It's one thing to have a sober soul and no desire to prance about in front of a camera, among giggling women. I can respect that. It is quite another thing for a woman to constantly suppress her free spirit and desires to feel lovely with negative self-thinking; reinforcing the idea that life is all down hill from 19.
I don't want my kids to remember how much I obsessed about how I look in my swimsuit. I want them to remember that I got in the pool; that I played, and laughed with my whole heart.
It was this thought that was the birth of our silly-girl photo shoots. It started with one, then two silly women. Now dozens have dived into this pool. Some were nervous and needed encouragement to remember how to be silly, some popped right out of that shell. I just know that for many, this was exactly what they needed.
And I have a feeling. It's time. Again. Join me?
My friends near Salem, Oregon. Send me a message to let me know if you are up for such an adventure. Send me a message if you want to, but you're not sure, and I will talk you into it.
Time, date, and theme information coming, once I get an idea how many of you will be joining me.

Since I am so far away, I'll just stick with the Photobooth! You are too awesome.
I hope you don't mind if I take your idea and do it here in Monterey? All credit to you of course!:)
More girls need to do this. It's magical.
And I'm glad Stephanie enjoyed the one she came to in WA :D It makes my heart happy hearing that.
