The Life of Riley

Taking my babies to get immunizations is one of my least favorite errands. My oldest yelled, "Don't poke a tiny, little hole in my brother!" over and over while our baby laid on the exam table. Plus, baby woke up so happy today, it was such a shame to make him cry.
To take everybody's minds off of the morning ordeal, we took a walk in the park.
We threw sticks off of a boat dock.
We spent an eternity at the drinking fountain.
And by the time we returned home, we were all better.
Is the above tree not the most lovely tree you've seen?

Even on the rough days, we are living the Life of Riley.

I have to take Hanna in today for her Jr. High shots. I have to get a sitter for the little ones because she yells and kick like a baby is almost the same size as me. It takes me and two nurses to do it.

Buds on the tree! There IS hope of spring! I remember sending my firstborn to get her first series of shots with her dad! I simply could not face the ordeal - what a wimp!!
