the reed opera house

In four years we've...

Read all the Chronicles of Narnia out-loud together.
Made-up after dozens of arguments.
Survived college together.
Perfected our home-made Pad Thai Noodles.
Learned how to invest money like grown-ups.
Made three babies, start to finish.
Laughed until we've cried too many times to count.
Driven thousands of miles together.
Camped four times (pretty pathetic, eh?).
And been each-other's constant strengths.

How could four years have flown by this quickly? How has it only been four years when it feels like we've always been together?
Way back when we were babies, we had our wedding reception at this beautiful building. We returned yesterday, with our dear children, to celebrate the beginning of our family.

Thank heavens they've opened a glorious ice-cream parlor downstairs.
I love you, Duke. Here's to many more anniversaries for us each to almost forget about because they're on April 14th, the day before the end of tax season.

Happy Anniversary! Is the Reed Opera House in Chattanooga? It looks really familiar - if so, my hubby and I stayed at that Sheraton back in October last year!

Hi Megan, I've been following your blog for awhile now, and this post made me willing to crossover from "blog stalking" and actually say hello :) I picked this post because my husband and I were married at the Reed Opera House too! (it will be 4 years in June) and we just had our first little babe in Feb. I look so forward to getting to do fun things with her as she gets older and am finding so much inspiration from your blog and ideas! I am also interested in your photo skills....hoping to get family pictures done this summer and I love your style of photography.

That is pretty sucky that your anniversary falls on your husbands busiest day of the whole year! Your wedding dress looks devine!

Happy Anniversary! You too look lovely together! Seeing happy couples makes me very happy, especially in this period of time when everybody seems to be having problems. God bless you! :)

p.s. I love the Chronicles of Narnia! My boyfriend and I also read them... they're magical! :)
