our family record.

Among the top memories I'd like to preserve from this summer...

Hanging out, wearing our pajamas in the empty swimming pool, drawing on each other with chalk.

And there it is, added to our family history. This blog really is such a blessing to me (and I'm sure it will become even more dear as the years go on). I've tried journaling, but I have all these empty spots in my entries where I intended to add photographs. Some folks are so gifted with words that they can convey the tiniest details as to paint a memory in the mind. I could never string the right letters together to describe my children's faces, lit with mischief. To tell a life story of emotion and truth, I rely heavily on my camera, making this a dream record.

Although I think it might be wise to have my blog converted to a book. Has anyone tried it?

I turn my blog into a book every time we move (every two years). I use Blurb so I can make it exactly how I want it and it's a lot cheaper. I love it, so does my husband and the g.parents. Such an easy way to have a hard copy of a family journal. Check out blurb.
Greg did that for me for Valentine's Day one year, and I love it so much! It is my way of keeping our family record. I love your blog so much! It is so inspiring to me!

Yes! I've used Blog2Print. It's pretty simple. I have printed out one book for each year. The books are simple but my husband was so happy that all of my blogging wasn't a waste. :)

Try it!
I really like blurb.com. It is fun to set up the pages the way you want and they are reasonably priced. We love having our blog in a book to look at our pictures.

I've used Blog2Print too. Shortly after my mom passed away, I printed her blog off for my four siblings, dad, and her siblings as a gift for Christmas. Everyone loved it and it turned out awesome!
