My bugs.

November first marks a mass upload of glorious children in fantastic costumes, just as we all lose our zest for Halloween and turn our minds to the coming Holiday feast.

So we took a few pictures during our dress rehearsal.

I am an advocate of thrift and resourcefulness, preferring in costumes the character and quirk of scrounged and home-fashioned accessories.

(It might have been different had I birthed a diva.)

Hope your Halloween is shaping up, whichever way you play it.

Awesome costumes! I didn't doubt it. I started cutting out the fabric for a Cinderella costume this afternoon. Your bugs are every bit as cute as any princess!

They are wonderful!!!!!! I love Fitz's costume, so cute. I wish I had a sewing machine, I'm sewing my glinda dress by hand. Talk about long hours.

You're doing better than me....they have skeleton jammies to wear for the big night:)

Oz's get-up is my favorite...but maybe its just him and is charm that oozes through the computer screen just like squints.

They look amazing! Nice job!

Also, remember that one time I had you take a picture of you and a book for me? (which you were so kind as to oblige!) Well I'm doing a little giveaway on my blog in connection with that, kind of. If you want to enter, your picture gives you an entry already. Let me know if you want to play :)

I came across this blog while searching for a dragonfly cosutme for my 10 year old boy. It is for a school play and I will be making it myself! (hopefully I can pull off something that crafty). Anyway, could you possibly tell me how you made the eyes for the costume you have pictured here? Please, email me if you don't mind at malca72208@gmail.com. Thank you!
