Blustery day.

Sparky saw a dream catcher the other day, and now he's quite set on catching all sorts of things that can't be seen to view them in a net.

He was excited when I suggested, it being a rather blustery day, that we make wind-catchers. (We used these tutorials; part 1 and part 2.)

He asked, "what will we do with the wind once we catch it?" I tried to explain that we can only catch it for a second, long enough to make our spirals dance, and then it has to go because if we try to keep the wind it will die. We must simply cherish it for the short while that it touches us.

I think a lot of things in life are like the wind, and I'm learning to be alright with that.

That picture of you is stunning. You have an amazing profile. We played in the sun/wind today too. It was much needed. See, you and I are in the same boat. The same baby making, churning stomach, ready to zonk by 2 pm boat. It was good to get out and feel normal for a minute.

totally cute little craft. We're definitely going to make some of those today. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. :) Thanks for writing Megan, you are great. And yes, that picture of you is very stunning.
