when nature calls.

I never changed them out of their pajamas.

Instead we stopped and smelled the roses.

Well, the crocuses.

"To truly reverence the Creator, we must appreciate his creations. We need to plan to take time to observe the marvels of nature. Today, we can easily become surrounded by brick buildings and asphalt surfaces that shelter us from real life around us. Plan to share with your family the miracle of buds changing to fragrant blossoms. Take time to sit on a hillside and feel the tranquility of the evening when the sun casts its last golden glow over the horizon. Take time to smell the roses." -Elder M. Russell Ballard

...or the daffodils.

"This is a wonderful time to be living here on earth. Our opportunities are limitless. While there are some things wrong in the world today, there are many things right, such as teachers who teach, ministers who minister, marriages that make it, parents who sacrifice, and friends who help. We can lift ourselves, and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues.” -President Thomas S. Monson

Kids...

I said smell the roses...

But...

That works, too.

I am starting to feel good enough to take baby steps back into life. And I have hardly felt so grateful.

I plan to fully enjoy March of 2011, for it's the only one we get, ever!

You are amazing! I am very greatful that you are such a wonderful mother to our beautiful children. Tell the boys they are better with "chetchup and branch"...
