collecting.
I've never really thought of myself as a collector. Well. Um. I'm ready to admit that we're collecting children.
It's becoming quite a hobby. (Is that blasphemous?) They are so precious and unique. Treasures, really.
And as tired as they make us feel, we just can't seem to quit.
Duke is pretty sure our collection is complete. Especially now that we've got that illusive female specimen.
Me, well, I'm not so sure. I think I have a problem. People are not supposed to want to have another baby this soon after birthing.
I just love them so much. I feel a little crazy, even. Like that eharmony cat lady, only about my kids.
Sharing this information, my friends, makes me feel vulnerable and ridiculous; human frailty exposed. But here I go pressing "publish post" anyway.

Congrats on your precious little bundle! She is a beauty.
There is no sorrow in the world, or even clear-headedness, for the surge of joy that accompanies a child. The feeling comes over and over again throughout life, as you well know.
Moderation in all things : )
