fall scavenger hunt.

Here's what you do...

1. Make a list of fall things you are likely to see outside. Red leaf. Carved pumpkin. Spider web. Black cat. Someone raking. Scary ghost decorations.
2. Go on a walk or bike ride. Bring your list and a pen to mark the items off as you find them.

Not that I actually did that. Getting four kids fed, dressed, and out the door was quite enough for me. But as I walked I thought, "Man, we should have done a scavenger hunt today!" Maybe tomorrow.

I love the following picture of their total awe in finding a cat with no tail.

My stars, life is good. Tiring but good.

Lola made friends with that cat too. She couldn't stop talking about its lack of tail. It's so funny when they don't really understand why something is the way that it is. I'm impressed with your baby wearing : )
You look so happy! Love all the pictures!

Whoa!!! I'm super impressed with you taking all four youngins on an outing. It's hard for me to get out the door with just the one. Kudos! AND you look great! I'm having fall envy looking at your pics. We're still on the 80's here.
What a great idea...think we might have to do it :) I am very impressed that you are out and about with your 4 little ones. Hope the adjustment to another child is going well :)

Such a lovely space. I decided to take my two boys on a fall scavenger hunt today and found your blog when I did a little googling for some ideas. I've enjoyed looking at your photos of your lovely family. You've got a new follower from Georgia.
