my weakness.

generally speaking, i'm alright with getting rid of things.

when it comes to books, though, i think i boarder on hoarder.

my sweet husband has been so very patient with me as we've moved our little home-library from house to house.

presently i have so little time for reading. i think owning these books keeps my hope for some alone time alive. someday i'll sit in a comfy corner and explore these waiting worlds.

for now i'll walk by them every day and try to come up with an inexpensive and aesthetically pleasing way to store the darn things.

books are a good thing to hoarde. :) and one day, in my future home, my husband is planning on a building me a "library"...or at least a comfy chair nestled in a corner, with a lamp and floor-to-ceiling shelves of books and more books...(when you find some alone time, find me on, my favorite site to peruse things...after Pinterest, anyway. :) )

There's an amazing sculpture at the BYU Museum of Art with stacks of books making essentially the walls of a square room. If you could find a way to protect outside walls from tumbling bodies, you could create a fort with your books. . .

I'm a book hoarder as well, and everytime we move houses, I think my husband dreads moving my treasures, but I simply can't help it. I did, however, receive a Kindle as a gift from my mom and brother, so at least my collection won't take up more physical space (unless it's something I must have in my hands - I just love being surrounded by books).
