the gardener.

it's a blue day. i can't explain much, just that i will not be able to tend the darling girls who i have grown to love. my heart is broken, but i know it's the right path for our family because we prayed and we got our answer.

i am filled with peace as i watch this video. i must have watched it 20 times in the last couple of weeks. maybe you need it, too.

Thank you. I did need that. :) The hardest part of it all, I think, is when you want to be the shade tree or the fruit tree - and then you are cut back and you don't know what God is intending for your life.

I've pondered John 15:2 for a long time and decided that being "purged" --or in other words pruned, means that we're on the right track. God is happy with us, and has confidence in our ability to grow even more.
Sometimes when life gets too easy I'm afraid that He's just being patient with my unfruitfulness before cutting me down completely and that means I better get to work.
It's indeed inspiring. We really need to trust God no matter how difficult life may seem, for He has purpose why He makes everything complicated.
