mornings and afternoons.
can you tell which one of my kids is defiantly not a morning person?
i've made the goal to walk the school pick-up/drop-off at least once a day. so far so good! let's see what happens when the rain comes back.
i am so thankful for our car.
i am so thankful for our stroller.
lots of times i think, "how the heck did anyone ever live without these things?"
then i remember that kids probably ran down a dirt road to the schoolhouse by themselves. duh.
i'm trying to embrace that we live in a totally unique period in human history and to stop comparing my perceived weaknesses with the strengths of our mighty ancestors.
can we just sit here for a second and think about how cool it is to be alive right now?
that thought might even motivate me to ditch my morning scowl.
