our happy.
i think this is our happy because we've been doing it for so long. trained up to explore. we are trying SO HARD to follow the stay-at-home rules, keeping social distance and avoiding travel to different destinations and public parks and all that. i feel so thankful that we live within walking distance to the wonders of the country. i also love the friendliness of our community. when we walk anywhere others follow the distancing rules while waving and calling out happy hellos.
the kids are getting big now, but here are some sweet pictures of similar adventures when they were little...
a skate park and water front adventure. (so glad i saved the jumper evy was wearing for the baby. eeeee.)
a waterfront picnic with bing crosby.
oh, what a picnic, when i was quite pregnant with sweet evy.
a zoo trip with extended family. (my heart felt light and heavy at once as i saw pictures of my grandpa. he passed away this last summer.)
one last nature adventure, just for good measure. (ossi still asks to go home most of the time we are out. but he seems happier after leaving the house for a while... maybe it's over-speaking a bit to say that it's everyone's favorite.)
