love at first sight.

though we felt like it was a really good thing, we were a bit worried about leaving our big four home while we went to the hospital. we worried about the possible fighting and the schemes they might concoct in our absence.

we needn't have worried.

when we came home we found little blown eggs around the house, decorated for baby.



we also have an archive of "marco polo" messages, mostly ossi, asking things like, "is it close?" and "is it a boy or a girl?" and "when exactly will the baby be born, do you think?"

after three weeks of watching their undying adoration from each of the kids for baby gwen, i'd say we have some delighted cheerleaders looking forward to her every childhood milestone.
