a gathering home

this was easter time, 2021. i hardly remember these moments but i do remember that they were the product of intentional efforts as parents to create a home-sanctuary. 

we're on to the gatherings of summer now... swimming and late-night movies... fireworks and karaoke. gwen's grown so much since these photos were taken- she's got seven pearly whites now.

when i can i've been exploring a book i like that confirms to me what i've long felt about creating a special home environment. so far this book inspires and uplifts me without any guilt or discouragement.
